THC Social Groups

Are you looking for some engaging social groups or activities in your local area to participate in? Browse our range of Social Groups below for adults with disabilities and interact with people from our community and beyond. We are very welcoming and inclusive, so do not hesitate to sign up for anything of your interest!

The Yarn Circle

We all know how important it is to have hobbies. The Yarn Circle helps you build skills in knitting, stitching and crocheting. We spend an enjoyable time together in a fun and learning environment!

You are welcome to join the Yarners!

We all know the benefits of walking, it’s good for the body, mind and soul.

Come and join our walking group, every Friday at the park in Chatswood at 10am.

We have so much fun in the Swans group. We go to see regular games in Sydney. We are a community and this is where friendships grow and life goals are made a reality.

GO the Swans!

Kelsey is our Social Coordinator and organises a variety of regular fun social Saturday activities like visits to the zoo, swimming, beach days, and more.

Catch up with people you know or make new friends in our community. Social Groups help people make connections, memories and experience new things. Everyone is welcome!

Our team does a fabulous job of organising a very popular Italian (Pizza & Pasta) Night. This social event is usually held on the last Thursday of the month at restaurants in the Chatswood or  Willoughby area, as this is pretty convenient for everyone by most forms of transport.

Get in touch to find out more and how you can become a member of the THC community.

We are really proud to have set up a garden club 2 years ago, our spots are full at the moment, please get in touch about other activities mentioned above.

Come and exercise at the park with us! We have fun and workout – sometimes we even go to the Willoughby Hotel afterwards. Boot Camps run Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 pm in a local park in Chatswood!
