We specialise in providing one to one support to adults at home and in the community. We can help you to live independently and to connect with people, places, shops and services in your local area.
At The Housing Connection, we work with each person and their network (your family/ friends/carers/advocates) to develop individualised support that meets your personal needs. Our aim is always to support you to achieve the highest quality of life.
We work with you and your network providing an individual program of support from a few hours up to 35 hours a week. To support you to live independently in your own home, we can help you develop skills like shopping, cooking, cleaning and looking after yourself. We will support you to improve practical skills such as managing your money, travelling by bus or train, and keeping healthy.
You may need personal assistance with everyday living. Things like washing, getting dressed, moving around, meals, taking medication – we can provide a range of support at home and can access mainstream services to suit you.
Our one to one model is founded on encouraging you to lead a rich and rewarding life. Everything we do is focused on the specific needs of the individual.
Some people are not able to live independently – the support we provide ranges from a few hours per week to 24 hours a day.
We have 2 properties for people with high support needs:
Roseville currently accommodates two people who receive 24/7 support and on William Street, six individuals with a mix of support needs live in four self-contained apartments, with separate accommodation for an on-site staff member.
